O'leary's, Beacon Street

So, everyone is talking about this crazy earthquake that happened yesterday in the east coast. To be honest, I didn't feel it because I was coming up the elevator from my lunch as it happened.

Probably 10 minutes after learning about what had happened, our building had to be evacuated. So, we waited outside for a good hour and a half before we [my colleagues and I] decided it would be a marvelous idea to get drinks across the street until the building cleared.

We ventured off to O'learys which is conveniently located across the street from my office. I had passed by this little joint millions of times but never once thought I would ever go inside. The day of the earthquake, I found myself in O'learys.

I tried to go in there with an open mind but let's be real, I am not your dive bar kinda gal. The only reason why I was able to semi-enjoy myself there was because I was with great company. But other than that - that place is a complete dump!

Why anyone would subject themselves to that kind of environment is BEYOND me! It is dirty, smelly, grimey, and straight up gross. Sorry if you like going to O'learys but I have never been so skeeved out by a bar before.

Anyway, thought I would share my tidbit about my earthquake experience and O'learys.
