Daisy's, Newbury Street

I am still in shock that I landed up here. The last time I went to Daisy Buchanan's was when I was a sophomore at BU, naive and underage LOL. I also told myself that I would never step foot in there once I could legally drink.

After Towne began to disappoint, we head over to Daisy's - not my choice. It was like a blast from the past. Still the same kind of crowd, disgusting bathrooms, and grungy atmosphere yet everyone always seems to be having such a gay ole' time there. Go figure.

Daisy's is definitely not my scene but I did enjoy the 45 minutes I was there, most probably because of the people I was with. The highlight of my evening was when I asked an undercover cop something that I probably shouldn't have asked him. LOL! Anyway, it's all good - I am in the clear.

Daisy's is so well-known in town, my opinion of this place doesn't even matter. If you're into the kind of ambiance that Daisy's offers, then you already have been there. And if you're like me and don't appreciate the casualness of Daisy's, then you don't need me to tell you to not waste your time. Hopefully I will be going somewhere more up my alley tonight. XOXO

PS. The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite books
